ATTENTION ALL VISITORS
In the not so distant future, "reader accounts" will be required to access the fanfiction posted on this site. Those accounts will be issued by me to the people who regularly support my works with positive feedback. Because so little of the visitors who come here choose to review, and thus, make themselves known to me, I don't know why they're here. Could be to read, could be to steal, could be to troll -who knows? Therefore, if you've been coming here to lurk, troll, or plagiarize, your days of being able to do so will soon be coming to an end. And to answer the question beforehand, no, I will not be posting any updates at any other site once this goes into effect. THE BACKSTORY.
Many of the stories here date back to the latter part of 2005 when I first began to write InuYasha fanfiction and posted my works to public websites. It wasn't the best written prose, but my fanfics generated a crazy amount of hits and reviews for a newjack and the controversies that followed gave me my beloved nickname: Notorious IG.
In June 2006, after deciding that mainstream fandom -and its plethora of idiots- sucked ass, my Chibi-nee-chan and I created a house of my own, Absolution, my sanctuary where I post all of my musings, gifts, and awards.
For now, "Abi" is open to the general public, but before you go traipsing through my temple, let me be very clear about a few things...
DON'T STEAL FROM ME.
Whether it's my fiction, artwork, or graphics no one has my permission to use, claim, or distribute any content from any of my websites. I paid for/created/own/hold the copyrights to everything, unless otherwise stated, so keep your hands to yourself.
SAVE YOUR CON-CRIT.
I'm not interested in hearing what you think I did wrong, nor do I want your advice.
You're here to read and enjoy. If that's too much to comprehend, leave.

I happily butcher canon characterizations and that's the way I want it.

WHY THE 'TUDE?
For years I was this fandom's "whipping grrrl" and those days are fucking over.
I find that being forceful about what I won't tolerate from the start sets the stage so that I'm free to be friendly afterward.

I spend a lot of time on updates because I have carpal tunnel. The only reason why I continue to update at all is because of the people who enjoy my fiction. However, I find that many are just fine with a lot of "take" and very little "give". If you like my stories and want to continue reading them in the future, review.

When she lifted her gaze from the book she was reading and set it upon him with a soft smile, he was lost, forever lost in her....
Even after Inuyasha told her not to follow after him should she wakeup and find him gone in the middle of the night, Kagome does so anyway and what she finds breaks her heart and nearly costs her her life. "C'mon, Kagome, breathe, damn you, breathe!"

As stated on my journal and this homepage, there will be some changes coming to this site in the not too distant future. Because of the hoard of people that visit my site and never review, thus letting me know who they are and why they're here, my site will be going private. Reader accounts will be required to access fanfiction. The only people who are guaranteed an account are those who review regularly, and therefore, have shown that they indeed support my works and are not here for ulterior motives.
I realize that this is only fanfic, but it's my fanfic. It's the fanfic I've slaved over until I developed carpal tunnel. It's the fanfic that I spent almost 7 years penning. It's the fanfic that has been plagiarized countless times, and frankly, I've had enough.
I'm not interested in offering my works to the "world" anymore. I only want to share my creativity with those who have shown that they support and appreciate my efforts. I don't update as much as I used to because I can't. If you don't have CT, you have no clue as to how debilitating it can be when it flares up. So when I am feeling good enough to update, I want to do it for people who actually care. If anyone is angry about my decision, or thinks I'm being "selfish", then you truly are better off reading fanfic elsewhere.
